The Scenarios of Mining Machinery :
Mining equipment mainly operates in open or semi-open hard rock mining areas. The environment is full of dust, with extremely abrasive particles of granite/marble dust and rock powder. Water for cutting, rainwater, and foggy air alternate between dry and wet conditions. During cutting, drilling, and crushing, the load fluctuates greatly and there is intense vibration. Remote mining areas have significant voltage fluctuations of ±20%, with frequent start-stop operations and heavy-load impacts. The temperature is high in summer and low in winter, with a large temperature difference between day and night.
Special requirements of Motor:
The motor needs to be protected against dust and moisture. The protection level should be no less than IP55. For the cutting/washing area should be IP56/IP65. For outdoor use of the power supply, the end cover, outlet, bearing chamber, etc. need to be strengthened for sealing to prevent rock dust and water mist from invading. Ensure the rigidity of the base, end cover, and resistance to strong vibration and impact, avoiding cracking and loosening. Select heavy-duty bearings and enhance lubrication to extend the service life. Allow for wide voltage fluctuations, low voltage startup operation. High starting torque to avoid jamming, and with strong overload capacity. The cutting equipment can operate continuously for 24 hours, with a temperature rise of ≤80K, avoiding overheating protection shutdown. For working in high-temperature environments, choose H insulation grade. The variable frequency motor should be independently fan cooled. Outdoor motor can adapt to -20℃ to +40℃, withstand high and low temperature alternating changes, and the insulation and sealing components are resistant to aging. The motor is coated with anti-corrosion paint, fasteners are made of stainless steel, and it can resist corrosion from rock dust and water vapor.
